Um grupo formado por membros de bandas como Nile, Hate Eternal, Olkoth e Malevolent Creation não pode entregar algo sem qualidade e o IMPERISHABLE parece levar isso totalmente a sério e não decepciona, não mesmo.
O death metal apresentado pelo grupo abraça elementos do brutal death metal clássico, um peso descomunal e uma qualidade acima da média em termos de criação musical. Além de tudo há uma preocupação com abraçar um trabalho que envolve o ouvinte com uma aura carregada de escuridão.
O IMPERISHABLE consegue ser brutal, técnico e visceral, oferecendo uma sonoridade que funciona como uma avalanche. Não há meias palavras aqui. Esse power trio vai direto ao ponto em cada uma das sete composições incluídas nesse álbum
Quando “Oath of Disgust” é tocada no início do álbum você já consegue entender que o IMPERISHABLE deve ser levado muito a sério. Ainda que a música seja realmente brutal, há uma gritante complexidade aliada a uma crueza primitiva. Gostei muito dos experimentos com os vocais, que em alguns momentos me lembrou o Borknagar. Fora esses momentos, Brian Kingsland vomita suas entranhas em brutalidade. E em se tratando de soar brutal, o senhor Derek Roddy dispensa maiores apresentações. Você sabe que será esmagado por sua performance.
Mais dissonante e carregada de um feeling obscuro que se funde com a velocidade alucinante, a faixa “Exclusion Continuum” é um ponto alto do álbum. O peso é descomunal em alguns momentos e concede um groove poderoso. “Revelation in Purity” segue a mesma linha, mas traz alguns arranjos bem interessantes nas guitarras, inclusive tirando o pé do acelerador e criando uma atmosfera mais tétrica. Excelente composição.
Brutalidade é o que define “Spewing Retribution”. A pancadaria é gratuita e você termina a audição como se tivesse apanhado da polícia. hahahhaa Totalmente recomendada para ouvidos apurados. Preste bastante atenção ao solo de guitarra. Esse cara entende de como gerar caos. Na sequência vem “Iniquity”, que mais uma vez traz vocais diferenciados e não apenas guturais. A banda mostra o seu nível técnico com intensidade nessa faixa.
Curta, mas bem interessante é “Where Dead Omens Croon”. Mais lenta, cheia de contratempos, vocais limpos e um trabalho intrincado de guitarras. Há uma pegada mais black metal em vários riffs, que em meio á velocidade e selvageria, mostram que o IMPERISHABLE não está aqui para criar um ambiente “seguro”.
Finalmente “The Enduring Light of Irreverence” se inicia e acaba sendo minha música favorita. Um death metal brutal e da velha escola, com grandes riffs, vocais e peso em doses cavalares. Há uma vibe meio Morbid Angel em vários momentos.
A capa do álbum é assinada por Nestor Avalos e se encaixa perfeitamente na sonoridade do grupo. A produção é realmente muito boa e tudo isso cria uma experiência auditiva ímpar.

A group formed by members of bands such as Nile, Hate Eternal, Olkoth, and Malevolent Creation cannot deliver anything less than quality, and IMPERISHABLE seems to take this very seriously and does not disappoint, not at all.
The death metal presented by the group embraces elements of classic brutal death metal, with tremendous heaviness and above-average quality in terms of musical creation. In addition to all this, there is a concern with embracing a work that envelops the listener in an aura charged with darkness.
IMPERISHABLE manages to be brutal, technical, and visceral, offering a sound that works like an avalanche. There are no half measures here. This power trio gets straight to the point in each of the seven compositions included on this album.
When “Oath of Disgust” is played at the beginning of the album, you can already understand that IMPERISHABLE should be taken very seriously. Although the music is truly brutal, there is a striking complexity combined with a primitive rawness. I really liked the experiments with the vocals, which at times reminded me of Borknagar. Apart from those moments, Brian Kingsland vomits his guts out in brutality. And when it comes to sounding brutal, Mr. Derek Roddy needs no introduction. You know you will be crushed by his performance.
More dissonant and charged with a dark feeling that merges with breakneck speed, the track “Exclusion Continuum” is a highlight of the album. The weight is enormous at times and provides a powerful groove. “Relevation in Purity” follows the same line, but brings some very interesting arrangements on the guitars, even taking the foot off the accelerator and creating a more gloomy atmosphere. Excellent composition.
Brutality is what defines “Spewing Retribution”. The beating is gratuitous, and you finish listening as if you had been beaten up by the police. hahahhaa Totally recommended for discerning ears. Pay close attention to the guitar solo. This guy knows how to create chaos. Next comes “Iniquity,” which once again features distinctive vocals, not just guttural ones. The band shows off their technical prowess with intensity on this track.
Short but very interesting is “Where Dead Omens Croon”. Slower, full of setbacks, clean vocals, and intricate guitar work. There is a more black metal feel to several riffs, which, amid speed and savagery, show that IMPERISHABLE is not here to create a “safe” environment.
Finally, “The Enduring Light of Irreverence” begins and ends up being my favorite song. Brutal, old-school death metal, with great riffs, vocals, and heavy doses of heaviness. There is a Morbid Angel vibe at various moments.
The album cover is signed by Nestor Avalos and fits perfectly with the group’s sound. The production is really very good and all of this creates a unique listening experience.
