Cláudio Slayer, a mente por trás do Open The Coffin entrou em estúdio e gravou esse segundo full length composto por 8 pedradas do mais puro e matador death metal! Inclusive, fechando o cd com uma composição em português com o singelo nome: “Tudo Pertence à Morte!” E acreditem, os resultados ficaram perfeitos! A língua portuguesa combina, sim, com metal! Tem que ter bom gosto e entender de death metal e o Cláudio e seus coveiros sabem muito bem o que é o metal da morte.
Tudo soa denso e carregado. Os trabalhos de guitarras são caóticos, riffs esmagadores, distorcidos e brutais. Baixo soando pesado, sujo, grave e dando peso para as composições. A bateria é pesada e retona, tudo isso apodrecido por vocais guturais e agonizantes. Esse disco não é indicado para “metaleirinhos de fim de semana”, influencers de tik-tok. Open The Coffin, é uma banda séria que respira o submundo e o metal da morte é sua religião. O disco não tem uma ou outra música que se destaca, todas estão em um nível absurdamente perfeito! Aqui tudo é consistente, não querem inventar a roda ou inovar o estilo, aqui tudo é respeito e paixão pelo death metal old school!

And the perfect soundtrack for such a ceremony is this record: “Once Alive Always Dead”. Open the Coffin and feel the odor of death, the rotten stench, the worms devouring that Christian body. Powerful riffs and crushing foundations, chaotic vocals.
Cláudio Slayer, the mind behind Open The Coffin, entered the studio and recorded this second full-length album composed of eight crushing blows of the purest, most lethal death metal! Closing the CD is even a composition in Portuguese with the delicate title: “Everything Belongs to Death!” And believe it — the results are perfect! The Portuguese language absolutely fits metal! You just need good taste and a true understanding of death metal, and Cláudio and his gravediggers know exactly what death metal is.
Everything sounds dense and loaded. The guitar work is chaotic — crushing, distorted, brutal riffs. The bass sounds heavy, dirty, deep, adding weight to the compositions. The drums are pounding and relentless, all of it rotted by guttural, agonizing vocals. This album is not recommended for “weekend metal kids” or TikTok influencers. Open The Coffin is a serious band that breathes the underground, and death metal is their religion. There isn’t just one standout track — every song is on an absurdly perfect level! Everything here is consistent. They’re not trying to reinvent the wheel or innovate the style — this is about respect and passion for old-school death metal.
