TRENCHANT – Commandoccult (CD 2022)

E o submundo não decepciona jamais! E o gênero Death Metal continua a surpreender os amantes da podreira extrema e da brutalidade!  De Austin, Texas, esses americanos lançaram o seu primeiro artefato bélico e “Commandoccult” não é um disco com belas melodias e passagens bonitinhas. Isso é brutalidade, é para chutar as bundas de posers e metaleirinhos de rede social. As influências desse quarteto passam por Krisiun, Angel Corpse e também pelo velho Immortal nas passagens das guitarras. Aliás, guitarras insanas, sujas, pesadas, grotescas e furiosas.

O TRENCHANT despertou no deserto texano em 2016, uma serpente venenosa a vagar pelo árido deserto destilando veneno contra a escória cristã. O quarteto é formado por: TND, baixo & vocal, GRA,na bateria, NRS, guitarra & vocal e Eliseo Lara, também guitarrista. Todos velhos demônios do submundo que fazem ou fizeram parte de lendas do Underground como: Averse Sefira, Morbosidad, Funeral Rites e muitos outros agrupamentos que reinam absolutamente no inferno. 

“Commandoccult” abre os trabalhos com uma introdução de bateria que traz lembranças do grandioso Krisiun, mas com uma identidade própria é mais tosco/bruto no bom sentido, é claro, na execução.

“Burning Spires of Mercury” com riffs e bases rápidas, “GRA” o baterista espancando as peles e pratos, e baixo segurando os graves e um vocal cavernoso e insano.

“Darkwater Graves” começa com uma introdução um pouco longa, bateria fazendo o chamado para a guerra e riffs brutais, bases insanas, vocal cavernoso que me fez lembrar o velho Psycodeath de Londrina, Paraná. Que faixa insana e poderosa!

“Yellow Cross Orison”,“Trumpets of Jericho”,“Atrocity Vision” e “Wardrivers”. São faixas brutas e demoníacas. Esses americanos não trouxeram nada de novo neste trabalho e é melhor assim. Os caras tocam e executam um Death Metal rápido, violento, agressivo, riffs pesados, brutais e com letras sobre guerra tão comum na lírica do metal da morte. O que torna o som deles diferente e contagiante, é que apesar de serem americanos, o som deles tem uma influência, uma maldade do metal Sulamericano e isso faz toda a diferença. Com uma ótima produção no Alive Audio Studio.

Ainda fizeram uma grande homenagem tocando “Pyre at The Tarn” da lenda Molested. E tirando o pino da granada e explodindo todos os posers e cristãos que estão infiltrados no submundo tocam a última faixa “In the Fires of Night”. E esses demônios lançaram um ótimo trabalho de estreia e pela história deles deixará todos que escutarem “Commandoccult” curiosos pelo próximo lançamento. E pela brutalidade, insanidade e capacidade apresentados aqui, certeza que não decepcionará

And the underworld never disappoints! And the Death Metal genre continues to surprise lovers of extreme rot and brutality! From Austin, Texas, these Americans released their first war device and “Commandoccult” is not an album with beautiful melodies and cute passages. This is brutality, it’s meant to kick the asses of social media posers and metalheads. The influences of this quartet include Krisiun, Angel Corpse and also the old Immortal in the guitar passages. In fact, insane, dirty, heavy, grotesque and furious guitars.

Trenchant awoke in the Texas desert in 2016, a venomous serpent roaming the arid desert brewing venom against Christian scum. The quartet is made up of: TND, bass & vocals, GRA, on drums, NRS, guitar & vocals and Eliseo Lara, also guitarist. All old demons from the underworld who are or were part of Underground legends such as: Averse Sefira, Morbosidad, Funeral Rites and many other groups that reign absolutely in hell.

“Commandoccult” opens the work with a drum introduction that brings back memories of the great Krisiun, but with its own identity it is rougher/rougher in a good way, of course, in execution.

“Burning Spiers of Mercury” with fast riffs and bases, “GRA” the drummer beating the skins and cymbals, and bass holding the bass and a cavernous and insane vocal.

“Darkwater Graves” begins with a slightly long introduction, drums making the call to war and brutal riffs, insane bases, cavernous vocals that reminded me of the old Psycodeath from Londrina, Paraná. What an insane and powerful track!

“Yellow Cross Orison”,“Trumpets of Jericho”,“Atrocity Vision” and “Wardrivers”. They are raw and demonic tracks. These Americans didn’t bring anything new to this work and it’s better that way. The guys play and perform fast, violent, aggressive Death Metal, heavy, brutal riffs and lyrics about war so common in death metal lyrics. What makes their sound different and contagious is that despite being American, their sound has an influence, an evilness from South American metal and that makes all the difference. They also paid a great tribute by playing “Pyre at The Tarn” by the legend Molested. And taking the pin out of the grenade and blowing up all the posers and Christians who are infiltrated in the underworld, they play the last track “In the Fires of Night”. And these demons released a great debut work and their story will leave everyone who listens to “Commandoccult” curious about the next release. And due to the brutality, insanity and capacity presented here, it will certainly not disappoint.
