O FACADA é um dos nomes mais relevantes do grindcore brasileiro contemporâneo e o seu novo álbum “Truculence”, que foi lançado em outubro de 2025 pela Black Hole Productions oferece uma experiência real dessa brutalidade nacional e sua qualidade inegável.
Como todo bom álbum de grindcore, o álbum inteiro tem pouco mais de 15 minutos de duração, com uma enorme faixa que tem 04:07 de duração, uma eternidade para o estilo. O álbum inteiro é um verdadeiro tapa na cara, com músicas brutais e letras excelentes. Como diria o velho Dorsal Atlântica, aqui a “violência é real”.
Os vocais de James em vários momentos me lembram os do João Gordo, do Ratos de Porão, ou seja, um vocal bastante presente, intenso e brutal.
É muito difícil destacar músicas nesse trabalho, mas vou tentar deixar um pouco da impressão que tive sobre as composições de “Truculence”. A faixa de abertura é bem Brutal Truth, com tudo sendo arremessado pela janela enquanto a música se apresenta. O título é perfeito “Truculence”.
“Irreversível” também segue esse caminho de brutalidade. Outra faixa que gostei muito foi a visceral “Regressão Primitiva”, uma porrada sem fim…. Tive a mesma impressão positiva com “Talvez Nunca”, executada na velocidade da luz e cuspindo maribondos a torto e a direita. “Não Dormir, Nunca Acordar” é outra faixa muito foda. Curtíssima e direta na sua cara.
“Vai entregar” tem riffs que são puro death metal, soando perigosamente obscuros e brutais. Grande música. Na mesma linha vai “Mente, Engana, Manipula”.
“Dwyer” fecha o álbum com velocidade e selvageria, mas é o que vem a seguir é deixa ouvinte catatônico. “Feche os Olhos e Contemple” vai na contramão do que ouvimos durante o álbum inteiro e abre espaço para um experimentalismo intimista que arrasta o ouvinte para uma experiência de desconforto auditivo.
A produção do álbum é muito boa, bem orgânica. Tudo soa realmente pesado e “Truculence” deixa o ouvinte querendo ouvir mais músicas novas… Vamos lá caras, arregacem as mangas….

Facada is one of the most relevant names in contemporary Brazilian grindcore, and their new album “Truculence”, released in October 2025 by Black Hole Productions, offers a real experience of this national brutality and its undeniable quality.
Like any good grindcore album, the entire record runs just a little over 15 minutes, with one “huge” track lasting 4:07—an eternity for the style. The whole album is a true slap in the face, filled with brutal songs and excellent lyrics. As the legendary Dorsal Atlântica once said, here the “violence is real.”
James’ vocals often remind me of those of João Gordo from Ratos de Porão—in other words, a very present, intense, and brutal vocal performance.
It’s very difficult to highlight specific songs on this record, but I’ll try to convey some of the impressions I had of the compositions on “Truculence”. The opening track is very much in the vein of Brutal Truth, with everything being thrown out the window as the song explodes into action. The title is perfect: “Truculence”.
“Irreversível” follows the same path of brutality. Another track I really enjoyed was the visceral “Regressão Primitiva” an endless beating. I had the same positive impression with “Talvez Nunca”, executed at the speed of light and spitting fury in every direction. “Não Dormir, Nunca Acordar” is another killer track—extremely short and straight to your face.
“Vai Entregar” features riffs that are pure death metal, sounding dangerously dark and brutal. A great track. In the same vein comes “Mente, Engana, Manipula”.
“Dwyer” closes the album with speed and savagery, but what comes next leaves the listener almost catatonic. “Feche os Olhos e Contemple” goes in the opposite direction of everything heard throughout the album and opens space for an intimate experimental approach that drags the listener into an unsettling auditory experience.
The album’s production is very good and quite organic. Everything sounds truly heavy, and “Truculence” leaves the listener wanting to hear more new songs. Come on guys—roll up your sleeves and bring it on.
