Direto da ilha da magia surgiu em 2024 a banda Cruciate formada por: Rubia Domiciano, no baixo, Renan Uller, na bateria e vocal, Ardley, na guitarra e Lakshmi Bittencourt, nos vocais. Mais uma banda para representar a cena extrema de Florianópolis.(SC)
Em janeiro de 2025, lançaram um registro simples intitulado apenas de Live Albúm. Em agosto de 2025, soltaram esse EP “Cruciate Ligament Of Atlas” com duas faixas: Smell of Decay e Name the Shame. O som do quarteto carniceiro é um fudido death metal old school e brutal death metal, com pitadas de goregrind e passagens doom metal, perfeito para bater cabeça. A banda executa um som brutal, agressivo, simples e direto, com muita energia e feelings.
Com vocais rasgados e cavernosos, guitarras pesadas e aquela pegada motosserra influenciadas pelo death metal sueco. A cozinha da banda trabalha muito bem juntos e estão bem entrosados. Rúbia segura muito bem o baixo com peso e graves violentos, enquanto Renan, desce o pau na bateria nas partes mais rápidas e agressivas, quando a música solicita e momentos lentos e cadenciados quando a composição pede.
A banda já escolheu um lado no submundo à bandeira antifascista esta hasteada deixando bem claro como a banda se posiciona e sem medo de suas escolhas. Com influências de bandas como: Autopsy, Dismember, Deeds Of Flesh, Sintury, Cannibal Corpse e Carcass.
A banda é nova vejo que eles estão no caminho certo com esse trabalho, contendo só com duas músicas, mas nota-se que estão criando um som próprio e em breve com mais experiências em palco e estúdio vão evoluir e dar orgulho para cena da capital catarinense.
A produção é simples, porém dentro do possível ficou acima da média. Todos os instrumentos e vocais estão bem nítidos. As faixas foram captadas por Leonardo Daniel Baldissera Souza e a mixagem e masterização ficaram a cargo do baterista Renan Uller. O trabalho foi lançado de forma independente e nas plataformas de streaming, mas em breve sairá uma versão em K7.

Straight from the island of magic, the band Cruciate emerged in 2024, consisting of Rubia Domiciano on bass, Renan Uller on drums and vocals, Ardley on guitar, and Lakshmi Bittencourt on vocals. Another band representing the extreme scene in Florianópolis (SC). In January 2025, they released a simple recording simply titled “Live Album.” In August 2025, they released the EP “Cruciate Ligament Of Atlas,” featuring two tracks: “Smell of Decay” and “Name the Shame.” The quartet’s sound is a hard-hitting, old-school, brutal death metal, with hints of goregrind and doom metal passages, perfect for headbanging.
The band plays a brutal, aggressive, simple and direct sound, with a lot of energy and feelings.
With raspy, cavernous vocals, heavy guitars, and that chainsaw-like groove influenced by Swedish death metal, the band’s vocals work well together and are well-matched. Rúbia handles the bass well with heavy, violent lows, while Renan pounds away on the drums in the faster, more aggressive parts when the song calls for it, and in the slower, more measured moments when the composition calls for it.
The band has already chosen a side in the underworld, flying the anti-fascist flag, making it clear where they stand and are unafraid of their choices. With influences from bands like Autopsy, Dismember, Deeds of Flesh, Sintury, Cannibal Corpse, and Carcass, The band is new, and I can see they’re on the right track with this release. It only has two songs, but it’s clear they’re creating their own sound. Soon, with more stage and studio experience, they’ll evolve and bring pride to the Santa Catarina scene.
The production is simple, but within its limitations, it’s above average. All instruments and vocals are very clear. The tracks were recorded by Leonardo Daniel Baldissera Souza, and the mixing and mastering were handled by drummer Renan Uller. The work was released independently and on streaming platforms, but a cassette version will be released soon.
