Das terras da Holanda vem a BEZWERING, fazendo um Black metal atmosférico, que às vezes tem toques de Doom Metal, em outras partes um acento Folk (principalmente nos vocais, já que Alfschijn também passou pelo conhecido Heidevolk), mas que, em determinadas passagens também traz o caos em blast-beats e riffs hipnóticos.
“Vredeloos” abre o álbum numa levada Rock n’Roll, algo semelhante ao que o Satyricon tem feito. É um bom cartão de visitas, mas ainda há muito mais por vir. “Nagezeten” traz a faceta Punk/Hardcore da banda, sem deixar de lado passagens lentas e carregadas de um clima soturno. Uma bela construção maléfica. “Rowstouet” é mais um ato, em que o acento Folk se faz onipresente. Ato contínuo o caos vem à tona; “Uitgerteed” segue a linha, com ótimas variações e total brutalidade; “AanGene Zijde” é um som cadenciado, numa levada bem Rock n’Roll em que vocais limpos alternam-se com rasgados.
Pode-se dizer que é um dos destaques do álbum. “Terror Terroris” tem um começo avassalador com seus riffs e vocais insanos; “Geen Bloemen Op Mijn Graf” traz riffs melancólicos que, camada sobre camada, acabam martelando na cabeça, assim como andamentos mid-tempo, os quais criam uma viagem extasiante. “HetTweedeGezicht” é a mais longa das faixas, com pouco mais de sete minutos de duração. Sua execução oferece uma aura de terror e aflição, um salto em um abismo escuro. Mesmo sendo longa, em nenhum momento é sonolenta ou tediosa. “Waanzinskolk” é o epílogo perfeito, uma vez que mescla tudo de mais grotesco, negro e pandemônico que esta obra suscita no decorrer da audição.
O trampo feito pela banda é digno da mais alta relevância. Mesmo não trazendo nada de extremamente genuíno, eles foram capazes de forjar peças de alta relevância, proporcionando ao ouvinte a curiosidade necessária para se atentar aos vários detalhes em cada uma das músicas. A mencionada alternância de vocais acaba sendo um dos pontos altos, até porque os mesmos são muito bem ajustados e o contraponto é perfeito. A produção correta não deixa nada a desejar, e é fato que o selo alemão Ván Records acertou em cheio em assinar com estes caras. O BEZWERING merece toda a atenção de quem curte um Black Metal sorumbático, feito por entes que tem o completo domínio desta arte. Obrigatório!!

From Holland comes BEZWERING, making atmospheric Black Metal, which sometimes there are touches of Doom Metal, in other parts a Folk accent (mainly on vocals, since Alfschijn also went through the well-known Heidevolk), but which, in certain passages, it also brings chaos in blast-beats and hypnotic riffs. “Vredeloos” opens the album in a Rock n’Roll groove, something similar to what Satyricon has been doing. It’s a good calling card, but there’s a lot more to come. “Nagezeten” brings the Punk/Hardcore facet of the band, without neglecting slow passages and loaded with a dark mood. A beautiful evil construction.
“Rowstouet” is another act, in which the Folk accent becomes omnipresent. Immediately, chaos comes to the fore; “Uitgerteed” follows the line, with great variations and total brutality; “Aan Gene Zijde” is a lilting sound, in a very Rock n’Roll way in which clean vocals alternate with ripped ones. It can be said that it is one of the highlights of the album. “Terror Terroris” got off to a blistering start with its insane riffs and vocals; “GeenBloemen Op Mijn Graf” features melancholy riffs that, layer upon layer, end up pounding in your head, as well as mid-tempos, which create an ecstatic journey. “Het TweedeGezicht” is the longest of the tracks, just over seven minutes long. His execution offers an aura of terror and affliction, a leap into a dark abyss. Even though it is long, at no time is it sleepy or tedious. “Waanzinskolk” is the perfect epilogue, as it mixes everything grotesque, black and pandemonic that this work evokes during the audition.
The work done by the band is worthy of the highest relevance. Even though they didn’t bring anything extremely genuine, they were able to forge highly relevant pieces, providing the listener with the necessary curiosity to pay attention to the various details in each of the songs. The mentioned alternation of vocals ends up being one of the highlights, because they are very well adjusted and the counterpoint is perfect. The correct production leaves nothing to be desired, and it is a fact that the German label Ván Records hit to sign with these guys. BEZWERING deserves all the attention of those who enjoy a moody Black Metal, made by entities that have complete mastery of this art. Mandatory!!
