Os muros que sustentam o infame Vaticano sofrem com o tempo e com a sonoridade que escorre das entranhas dessa besta infernal intitulada INFERNAL ANGELS.

Os italianos não se prostram à patética trindade e buscam sua destruição enquanto criam e oferecem como tributo ao fogo do inferno, uma música que honra a tradição do black metal italiano. Uma sonoridade rápida, com boas doses de melodia e respeito à tradição.

Após a Intro “Abyss Oath” inicia-se o ritual com a execução de “In the Silence ov Tehom”. Composição longa, com partes mais rápidas e outras nem tanto, mas com um diferencial que passa pelo uso de vocais mais tétricos, o que cria uma atmosfera mais obscura.

“The Horizon Eats the Sun and the Other Stars” é uma das melhores composições desse álbum. Lembra em sua essência o que o Emperor fazia em seus primórdios. A música possui uma aura de dramaticidade que a faz soar ainda melhor.

A próxima música é mais tétrica e contida, mas não menos impactante. “Fire as Breath” tem um trabalho de guitarras magnífico e minimalista. Os arranjos e melodias criadas são complementares e o resultado final é poderoso.

As chamas se mantém acesas com a excelente “A Gateway to Purification”, uma instrumental com peso e velocidade. A faixa mais surpreendente é “The Flames Burns Brighter in the Darkness”. O riff de abertura é sensacional e a música é intensa em sua essência. Talvez seja a música que melhor representa a sonoridade do INFERNAL ANGELS nesse novo álbum oficial.

As duas últimas músicas do álbum são “I Am the Thoughtless Light” e “Shrine of Black Fire – Ablazing Serpent”. Ambas as músicas mantém o nível de agressão e arrogância diante do trono do vigário de Roma e zombam de sua cara. “Shrine of Black Fire” é um álbum que realmente entrega o que promete e incendeia o próprio céu.

The walls that support the infamous Vatican suffer from time and the sound that oozes from the bowels of this infernal beast called INFERNAL ANGELS.

The Italians don’t prostrate themselves to the pathetic trinity and seek its destruction while creating and offering as a tribute to the fires of hell, music that honours the tradition of Italian black metal. A fast sound, with good doses of melody and respect for tradition.

After the intro “Abyss Oath”, the ritual begins with the performance of “In the Silence ov Tehom”. It’s a long song, with parts that are faster and others that aren’t so much, but with a difference that involves the use of more eerie vocals, which creates a darker atmosphere.

“The Horizon Eats the Sun and the Other Stars” is one of the best compositions on the album. It is reminiscent in essence of what Emperor did in their early days. The song has an aura of drama that makes it sound even better.

The next song is more tetchy and restrained, but no less impactful. “Fire as Breath” has magnificent, minimalist guitar work. The arrangements and melodies created are complementary and the end result is powerful.

The flames are kept burning with the excellent “A Gateway to Purification”, an instrumental with weight and speed. The most surprising track is “The Flames Burns Brighter in the Darkness”. The opening riff is sensational and the song is intense in its essence. It’s perhaps the song that best represents INFERNAL ANGELS’ sound on this new official album.

The last two songs on the album are “I Am the Thoughtless Light” and “Shrine of Black Fire – Ablazing Serpent”. Both songs maintain the level of aggression and arrogance in front of the throne of the vicar of Rome and mock his face. “Shrine of Black Fire” is an album that really delivers what it promises and sets heaven itself on fire.
