Quando você se vê coberto das mais inomináveis imundícies, o sentimento que se tem deve ser muito próximo ao que se percebe ao ouvir esse novo trabalho do SEPTAGE. Em pouco mais do 20 minutos esse trio rompeu a tubulação de esgoto de sua cidade e fez jorrar o mais pútrido splatter death metal em nossas caras.

Sempre repito o quanto gosto desse tipo de sonoridade. É uma das coisas mais extremas que pode criar em termos de metal e 99,99% dos seres vivos não conseguiria nem ao menos começar a compreender o que levaria um ser humano são a criar algo assim. E é por isso mesmo que álbuns assim são uma dádiva indispensável.

“Septic Worship (Intolerant Spree of Infesting Forms)” é um álbum curto, mas é aí que mora seu poder de fogo. Você não precisa de 60 minutos da sua vida para compreender isso. É direto, imundo, brutal.. o que mais é preciso ? São 15 composições que exploram temas “sutis” como “Candidiasis French Kiss”, “Devastation of Intestinal Flora by Bushmeat and Infected Blood”, “Jorden Raser Efter Menneskekød” (algo como A Terra está sedenta por carne humana), entre outras pérolas da delicadeza lírica. Só o mais puro suco da decomposição humana. hehehe

A capa não poderia deixar de estar à altura do som e das letras e traz uma montagem que remete totalmente aos velhos álbuns dos ingleses do Carcass. As influências que o SEPTAGE tem em suas veias são mais do que óbvias, mas isso não converte a banda em mera cópia. A música deles trabalha com várias camadas, seja em momentos mais brutais, seja oferecendo grooves pertinentes.

O SEPTAGE acertou em cheio com esse novo trabalho. É uma álbum obrigatório para quem ama uma verdadeira imundície musical em todos os sentidos. Definitivamente não pode ser tocada na sala da sua casa na frente daqueles parentes insuportáveis que amam falar mal da sua música “barulhenta”. Eles que se afoguem em excrementos e urina… ao som do SEPTAGE.

When you find yourself covered in the most unspeakable filth, the feeling you get must be very close to what you perceive when you listen to this new work by SEPTAGE. In just over 20 minutes, this trio broke through their city’s sewage pipes and poured the most putrid death metal splatter into our faces.

I always repeat how much I like this kind of sound. It’s one of the most extreme things you can create in terms of metal and 99.99% of living beings couldn’t even begin to understand what would drive a sane human being to create something like that. And that’s exactly why albums like this are an indispensable gift.

“Septic Worship (Intolerant Spree of Infesting Forms)” is a short album, but that’s where its firepower lies. You don’t need 60 minutes of your life to understand it. It’s direct, filthy, brutal… what more do you need? There are 15 compositions that explore “subtle” themes such as “Candidiasis French Kiss”, “Devastation of Intestinal Flora by Bushmeat and Infected Blood”, “Jorden Raser Efter Menneskekød” (something like The Earth is thirsty for human flesh), among other pearls of lyrical delicacy. Just the purest juice of human decomposition. hehehe

The cover could not fail to live up to the sound and lyrics and features a montage that is totally reminiscent of the old Carcass albums. SEPTAGE‘s influences are more than obvious, but that doesn’t make them mere copies. Their music is multi-layered, whether it’s more brutal moments or pertinent grooves.

SEPTAGE have hit the nail on the head with this new album. It’s a must-have album for anyone who loves real musical filth in every sense. It definitely can’t be played in your living room in front of those insufferable relatives who love to talk badly about your “noisy” music. Let them drown in excrement and urine… to the sound of SEPTAGE.
