Muitas vezes perdemos um tempo precioso da nossa vida procurando por bandas que tragam aquele “algo novo”, que muitas vezes nem sabemos o que é. Quanto mais falam que as bandas de hoje não produzem nada de qualidade, mais certeza eu tenho que menos é muito mais.

O INDUSTRIAL PUKE é um nome certeiro para essa minha análise. Os caras estão lançando amanhã o seu novo álbum intitulado “Alive To No Avail” e o simples aqui faz um barulho tão alto que é capaz de levantas cadáveres ao seu redor. São 12 composições de um death/crust sueco sujo, direto e absolutamente matador. Nada de novo no front, diriam os buscadores de “novidades”. Mas tudo aqui tem o seu valor exatamente por manter a tradição, afiar as guitarras, espancar a bateria e gritar seus pulmões com toda a vontade.

A produção tem seu fedor característico do death metal sueco, mas vai além criando uma energia tipicamente punk e tudo isso em meio a vocais que são vomitados com toda a força. Ouvir o álbum do início ao fim é uma injeção de adrenalina na veia. Tudo aqui transborda ferocidade e isso é uma grande atrativo.

Ouça “Skid Textures”. Acredito que essa música descreva em o que é o som do INDUSTRIAL PUKE com riqueza de detalhes. Há death metal, há riffs mais calcados no thrash metal violento, os vocais são mais rasgados do que guturais e tudo se encaixa.

Gostei bastante também de “Strangled From the Inside”, música com uma pegada cheia de raiva, puro crust e hardcore . Á medida que o álbum avança, música de menor duração surgem e deixam o álbum ainda mais legal de ouvir, já que não deixam tempo livre para você perder o foco. É como uma mistura de Entombed, Disrupt e D.R.I.

Outra faixa que eu destacaria é “Inverted”, com seu 1 minuto cuspido diretamente na sua cara. Bons backing vocals surgem e são bem interessantes. A sessão de porrada continua com “Rational Asshole”.

Bons álbuns tocam rápido no seu aparelho de som e “Alive to No Avail” tem essa qualidade. Não espere a invenção da roda. Espere metal extremo e crust. E abra uma cerveja gelada….

We often waste precious time looking for bands that bring us that “something new”, which we often don’t even know what it is. The more people say that today’s bands don’t produce anything of quality, the more certain I am that less is much more.

INDUSTRIAL PUKE is a perfect fit for my analysis. The guys are releasing their new album “Alive To No Avail” tomorrow and the single here makes a noise so loud that it’s capable of raising corpses around it. There are 12 compositions of dirty, direct and absolutely killer Swedish death/crust. Nothing new on the front, “novelty” seekers would say. But everything here has its value precisely because it upholds tradition, sharpens the guitars, beats the drums and screams its lungs out.

The production has the characteristic stench of Swedish death metal, but it goes further by creating a typically punk energy and all this amidst vocals that spew with all their might. Listening to the album from start to finish is a shot of adrenaline. Everything here overflows with ferocity and that’s a great attraction.

Listen to “Skid Textures”. I think this song describes what INDUSTRIAL PUKE sound like in great detail. There’s death metal, there are more violent thrash metal riffs, the vocals are more raspy than guttural and it all fits together.

I also liked “Strangled From the Inside”, a song full of rage, pure crust and hardcore. As the album progresses, shorter songs appear and make the album even more enjoyable to listen to, as they don’t leave you any time to lose focus. It’s like a mixture of Entombed, Disrupt and D.R.I.

Another track I’d highlight is “Inverted”, with its one minute spat directly in your face. Good backing vocals come in and they’re quite interesting. The thrashing session continues with “Rational Asshole”.

Good albums play quickly on your stereo and “Alive to No Avail” has that quality. Don’t expect the invention of the wheel. Expect extreme metal and crust. And crack open a cold beer….
